REAL WEDDINGS – LANEWAY LOVING at The Altar Electric

DAVID AND KIRA

These babes don’t like the limelight but they love being surrounded by their favourite, closest crew. So, when Dave and Kira decided to get hitched, they were never going to the big shebang with a cast of thousands, ‘the whole thought of a huge wedding just didn’t appeal to us. We wanted to celebrate our marriage with just our closest family and friends and then have a big party at home afterwards...’ says the couple.

Some traditions were still important to Kira and Dave – they had a bridal party of close pals and exchanged rings and vows - but at its core, this was a small celebration done totally their way. It was relaxed, heartfelt and left everyone feeling loved up and ready to party. The Altar Electric’s Sarah Dobson reckons it was one of the best weddings she’s been a part of,  ‘Kira and Dave completely nailed their look and their vibes, totally staying true to themselves.  And that’s what makes a ceremony authentic. Their wedding was short and sharp, but the feels were so bloody immense!’

After the hitching, Kira and Dave and their guests shuffled over to the bar for a few celebratory bevvies, before heading home to celebrate in their backyard with an all night festival of feasting and DJ’s playing wicked beats.
